Bill's Music Recommendations 2003:
I guess what I'm proudest of here is there's a lot of range:
January '03 was a good month. I like the range of styles.
There's a bebop tune next to a chinese tune next to
a
classical tune next to a funk tune .
With tunes like sillyB and light I'm starting to record the sax better
(but tuning is still an issue!)
By new mic , I am getting a better
sound. and tunes like saturday are
ok...and gord's ...
There are several experiments that don't work, so don't hesitate to
listen to just a bit of any tune and move on.
By category, here are my favorites in these styles
Jazz
Pop
classical
funk
country
raggae
folk
blues
rock
techno
If you're looking for some fairly small clear loops to use, try:
-small loop
-5 4.
-saturday
-gord ambient
-new mic
-chatan
-drunk turtle
-sweetest pop
-space incan
-mpg4rock
-brass trio.
- asian walk
-fusionloop .
-campfire
-raggae
-sillyB
-moody
USERS CHOICE
There are a few tunes that just get a ton of hits
and there is no real other explanation other than people
are sending links to them around.
The first one is fatig of me jamming with
danny oliver and oliver evans and liz mantle
in the basement in vancouver.
another is Jokes which I wrote in
a really bad mood when I had a cold and
there had almost been a flood in my town....There is at least one chord
change
I'd
like to fix in that since it gets a ton of hits.
Also drunk turtle and haloween get hits...
dunno why.
